Systematic List

The whole list actually contains 102 geometrid species and presents a survey on the distribution of the species within the Oman. The names in parentheses refer to the voucher material collected in several expeditions by Bjarne Skule, Aidas Saldaitis, Leonardo Dapporto, and Heinz Fischer. The material of B. Skule was partly collected together with M. Gallagher, that of A. Saldaitis together with J. Krueger, that of Fischer with Görgner and M. Ströhle. Parts of the material collected by the two last names collectors is deposited in ZSM and coll. Exposito, Mostoles. ID numbers below the photographs refer to the DNA barcode ID’s from BOLD database.
