Pyraloidea of Crete

In collaboration with Dr. Dr. Walter Ruckdeschel, project granted by the Crocallis Foundation (Westerbuchberg/Germany). In the course of the project, a monographic catalogue of the snout moths of Crete shall be established (Pyraloidea: Pyralidae, Crambidae; altogether 170+ species), including morphological and molecular species characterization, check of nomenclatural availability and taxonomic validity of all published names, and distrubutional and ecological data.
