BioCrunch

BioCrunch is a centrally administered high-performance Linux cluster consisting of several nodes that are hosted by the Zoologische Staatssammlung. The cluster allows to run several programmes that are dedicated to the inference of phylogenetic trees. The cluster is only accessible for users with accounts.

Hardware

BioCrunch runs a 64-bit Linux system. In the default configuration the cluster runs on 90 cores. You can see the number of cores and their current usage on the status page. The cluster controller runs on an AMD Opteron(TM) Processor 6274.
